Pot Luck Dinner — Saturday, June 19, 2010

The twice- or thrice-annual Potluck Dinners have become a prized staple at Restoration Farm, rivaling the kale. This Pot Luck Dinner — falling two days before the summer solstice and a day after quality-control specialist Ada Fanning Holmes's 1st birthday — was as sweet and as lively as the 2010 bumper crop of strawberries advocated and nurtured by volunteer dean Glenn Aldridge.

CSA-member families and friends celebrated Restoration Farm's third growing season with, once again, an extensive assortment of creative homemade dishes, lively company, and live music on the Restoration Village grounds alongside the farm fields. The event featured many dishes that members prepared using vegetables and herbs harvested from Restoration Farm.
