Learn the canning basics in Caroline's home kitchen. We'll discuss high-acid vs. low-acid canning, proper sterilization, how to eliminate the risk of botulism, and more. Then we'll process a batch of organic apple butter using the water bath method. Participants will get hands-on experience and go home with a jar of apple butter. Workshop runs approximately 1.5 hours.
