Herbal Medicine Events—2023

SPRING HERB IDENTIFICATION WALK

Ellen Kamhi, PhD, RN, (RH)AHG, AHN-BC, leads a meandering walk through the gardens and fields, identifying herbs commonly dismissed as weeds and discussing their medicinal properties.

​

June 10 

1 – 3 pm  

$25

​

This is a two-part event. First, participants walk the gardens and fields, learning about and gathering wild medicinal herbs we find right on the grounds of Restoration Farm. Then, we assemble in the Tin House and process the herbs into simple tinctures, salves, and smudge sticks to take home and enjoy! Led by Ellen Kamhi, PhD, RN, RH(AHG), AHN-BC, and by Dr. Eugene Zampieron, ND, AHG.

Participants should bring 2-3 small jars for transporting their own medicines home. 

​

Fire cider tasting and recipe included!
